We travel to Uganda throughout the year to meet our makers in person — to exchange ideas, share stories, and ensure every creation reflects the care and craftsmanship it deserves.

Akola

We believe design should touch hearts and transform lives. That’s why we partner with Akola, a jewelry brand empowering women in Uganda through craftsmanship.

Using ethically sourced Ankole cow horn, Akola artisans create beautiful, handcrafted pieces that support sustainable livelihoods.

“Akola” means “she works.” Through meaningful employment, women can support their families and build lasting independence.

Together with Akola, we celebrate craftsmanship, dignity, and impact—because when women work, communities thrive.

Ruhija Weaving

We celebrate craftsmanship rooted in nature. In Ruhija, near Bwindi National Park, women artisans are weaving a new future—one thread at a time.

Led by Hilder, Ruhija Weaving is a small, women-led initiative creating handwoven Home Decor pieces from locally sourced, naturally dyed Raffia. Each design blends traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.

Together, we bring these creations to a global audience—supporting sustainable livelihoods, preserving heritage, and empowering communities.

Paper Craft Kampala

Paper Craft Africa, based in Kampala, provides a sustainable income for a group of socially disadvantaged Ugandans (mainly women) through production and sale of hand made products.

From handblown recycled glassware, handmade paper and paper products, to natural soaps, every creation reflects resourcefulness, creativity, and purpose.

By choosing Paper Craft, you support a self-sustaining social enterprise that turns waste into meaningful design—driven by community, not charity.
